S.boulardiiis similar to S.cerevisiae in that itequally does not have the capability to penetrate into tissues like the Candida species isable to, hence they are not invasive. Some printed medicinal researches have shown theeffectiveness and safety of S.boulardii for different illness indications in both adults andchildren.
